Aggregates From Primary and Secondary Raw Materials
Crushed stone is one of the most important aggregates in construction — and at the same time one of the most demanding to produce. A cubic grain shape, a narrow size distribution within the target fraction, structural requirements, and a low fines content are just a few of the challenges every producer has to master.

We were convinced that the gentle crushing behavior of a roller crusher could deliver perfect results for grit production — and developed the the SGC (Sand and Grit Crusher) or exactly this purpose.
Conventional methods shatter the feed material through impact. They use a lot of energy and generate large amounts of unwanted sand and fines, which severely compromises the economics. The Crush + Size DRC (Double Roll Crusher) takes a different path: it crushes the feed material gently — with consistently better results.

PRECISION CRUSHING FOR HIGH-QUALITY CUBIC AGGREGATE
Between the slowly rotating rollers of the double-roll crusher, feed material from natural rock or recycled aggregate is gently crushed into high-quality, cubically shaped grit.
The decisive difference compared to cone, impact, or VSI crushers: the share of unwanted fines (< 0.063 mm) and sand (< 2 mm) is significantly lower. The yield of valuable target fractions (2–5 / 5–8 / 8–11 / 11–16 mm) goes up accordingly. The result: noticeably higher efficiency, less material to dispose of — and a real contribution to conserving natural resources.
On top of that, this efficient crushing technology cuts energy consumption by up to 70% at the same crushing ratio.

THE SAND- AND GRIT CRUSHER
The SGC is a crusher purpose-built for smaller grain sizes — and works equally well with primary raw materials such as gravel and crushed stone, and with secondary materials such as concrete or construction waste.
