AS FEW LOSSES AS POSSIBLE
Preparing limestone for the rotary or shaft kiln means hitting a very specific grain band. The DRC series and our Sizers deliver exactly that: an extremely low fines content and virtually no oversize — a key requirement for the energy-efficient processing of limestone in the kiln.
AS MUCH COARSE GRAIN AS POSSIBLE
Thanks to the gentle crushing action of a Crush + Size roller crusher, only a small share of fines is produced — and significantly more coarse grain. Two factors make this possible: the slow roller speed and a crushing tool specifically designed for this application, perfectly matched to the opposing roller.
The mechanical synchronization of both rollers guarantees a cubic grain shape: in every position, the tools interlock with a geometry that delivers cubic particles — and at the same time ensures an efficient feed.
The hydraulically adjustable crushing gap puts you in full control of the process and lets you set the required particle size precisely and efficiently.

MACHINE MODELS
The DRC series is ideally suited for crushing limestone and marble: thanks to the flexible gap adjustment, the final grain size can be set exactly as required.
For primary crushing, the DRC 900 or 800 reduces feed sizes of up to 1,200 mm to a final grain size of < 300 mm. In the secondary stage, a downstream DRC 700 or 550 is recommended to produce coarse fractions such as < 80 mm or < 120 mm.
The Sizer (SZR) series also features mechanical roller synchronization for efficient crushing. It works very effectively in primary and secondary crushing wherever the additional features of the DRC series — such as gap adjustment and overload protection — are not required.
